About Run Stronger

A training publication for runners, triathletes and endurance athletes who want to become more complete athletes.

What we cover

Run Stronger publishes training guidance for endurance athletes. The editorial thesis is simple: most runners would run better, and get injured less, if they were stronger. Almost everything we publish comes back to that.

  • Running — technique, race preparation, recovery, and the sessions that make a difference.
  • Strength — what to lift, how often, and how to fit it around running without wrecking either.
  • Triathlon — balancing three sports in one body.
  • Performance — pacing, heart rate, testing and benchmarks.
  • Challenges — the tests and events that tell you where you actually are.

Who it is for

People who already run and want to run better. That includes first-time half-marathoners, club runners chasing a personal best, triathletes juggling three disciplines, and anyone who has realised that more mileage on its own has stopped working.

How we work

We publish practical training guidance, not medical advice. Where the evidence for something is genuinely contested, we say so rather than picking the version that makes a better headline. We do not invent statistics, studies or testimonials. Our editorial policy explains how articles are produced and reviewed.

Events we mention

We write about an event when the article was already heading there. A link to a race is never a default recommendation, and anything with a commercial arrangement behind it is labelled at the top of the page.
